Shimo on japanilaisen ITO Yarnin pehmeä ja ilmava neulelanka, jossa yhdistyvät mulesing-vapaa uruguaylainen merinovilla ja kierrätetty silkki. Hienovaraisesti meleerattu pinta antaa neuleelle syvyyttä ja elävyyttä, ja laaja väripaletti tarjoaa loputtomasti mahdollisuuksia yhdistellä sävyjä keskenään sekä muiden ITO-lankojen kanssa.

Shimo kehrätään perinteisellä carriage spinner -menetelmällä, jota arvostetaan erityisen laadukkaiden lankojen valmistuksessa. Langan todellinen luonne paljastuu ensimmäisessä pesussa: kuidut avautuvat, neulepinta tasoittuu ja sävyjen herkät vivahteet syvenevät. Jokainen pesukerta tekee langasta entistä pehmeämmän ja kauniimman.

ITO Shimo sopii erityisen hyvin huiveihin, neulepaitoihin ja keveisiin kerrospukeutumisen neuleisiin. Se toimii kauniisti sekä yksinään että yhdistettynä muihin ITO-lankoihin. Erityisen mielenkiintoisia kokonaisuuksia syntyy yhdessä ITO Kinun tai Sensain kanssa: Kinu tuo neuleeseen rakennetta ja silkkistä kiiltoa, kun taas Sensai lisää ilmavuutta, pehmeyttä ja keveyttä.

Neulepuserot
Lanka sopii erityisen hyvin neulepaitoihin – se on riittävän lämmin mutta ei liian raskas.

Yhdistelmälanka
Erityisen mielenkiintoisia kokonaisuuksia syntyy yhdessä ITO Kinun tai Sensain kanssa: Kinu tuo neuleeseen rakennetta ja silkkistä kiiltoa, kun taas Sensai lisää ilmavuutta, pörröisyyttä.
