Vuonueen Tarmo is a high-quality and versatile yarn made from Finnish wool, which is great for a variety of knits – from wool socks and mittens to sweaters, scarves and hats. The soft and airy Finnish wool feels pleasant in the hands and only gets better with use.
Biodegradable nylon adds durability to the yarn, making it a responsible choice for knitters who value environmentally friendly materials.
Tarmo is a particularly good choice for wool socks: The manufacturer recommends knitting a dense knit surface and a reinforced heel to ensure the longest possible lifespan of your socks. One skein is enough for size 39 short-sleeved socks, but it is worth reserving two for larger sizes or longer sleeves.
